Atypical Migraine Headache

GuideWisdom™

This WisdomCard managed by: Tara Salamone

Atypical Migraine Headache is a very complicated headache, that may or may not be accompanied by signs and symptoms of a typical migraine headache such as vomiting, nausea, visual changes. The blood vessels tighten (spasms) when this type of headache occurs and can cause the reduction of blood flow to the brain, resulting in neurological complications. Since the manifestation can be similar to other neurological conditions such as stroke, it is best to consult the doctor immediately when symptoms occur. Providing significant and useful information can help the doctor make the proper diagnosis.
