Atrovent (ipratropium) side effects may include headache, dizziness, cough, nausea, blurred vision, and dry mouth. You should stop using Atrovent if you experience any of the following; hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. This could indicate an allergic reaction to Atrovent.1
