Research Notes on Atenolol Overdose


Some symptoms of an atenolol overdose include: fatigue, difficulty breathing, wheezing, slow heartbeat, and fainting. An overdose of a medication occurs when an individual takes more than the recommended amount of a medication either accidentally or intentionally. If you, or someone you know, has taken too much atenolol, contact the National Poison Control Center at 1-800-222-1222. If the overdose victim is unconscious or stops breathing, call 911.1
