There are certain steps you can take to help prevent asthma symptoms. Avoiding asthma triggers, such as dust, cigarette smoke, and fragrances, can reduce your chances of having an asthma attack.1 If you have allergies, getting an allergy shot may prevent future allergies and asthma.2

- Knowing the warning signs of an asthma attack will allow you the opportunity to use preventive medications.2
