Arthropathy is defined as a disease of a joint and is similar to arthritis. 1 Anthropathy is a generic term used to describe a non-specific disease affecting a joint. 2 From arthro (from the Greek arthron meaning joint) and -pathy (from the Greek pathos meaning feeling or disease). 1
