Research Notes on Aristocort Overdose
An Aristocort overdose can occur if an individual takes more than the recommended amount, whether accidentally or intentionally. One large dose is not expected to produce life-threatening symptoms, however, high doses taken over time can cause weight gain, increased facial hair growth, roundness of the face, bruising, swelling, and muscle pain or weakness.1 If you think you have taken too much of this drug call your doctor or pharmacist.
