Research Notes on Apple Cider Vinegar and High Blood Pressure

Studies suggest that apple cider vinegar may help in lowering high blood pressure. Doctors are still unsure of how this works though. The vinegar may affect levels of nitrous oxide in the blood, or it may interact with certain enzymes that aid in controlling blood pressure.1

Fast Facts:

  • Apple cider vinegar that is undiluted may damage the throat.1
  • If left on the skin, the vinegar may cause burning.1
