Research Notes on Anxiety Medication Side Effects
The most commonly prescribed anxiety medications are the benzodiazepines, which include Xanax, Valium, Librium, Tranxene, Klonopin, Centrax, Ativan and Serax. These are usually prescribed for short durations of time because they are addictive. Busbar is also sometimes prescribed and is not addictive.1
