Research Notes on Antivert Drug Interactions
Antivert can have serious drug interactions when used with some other medications. Alcohol, ACE inhibitors, and certain medications for anxiety or depression can increase the likelihood of Antivert side effects or increased side effects of the other medication. Always discuss potential drug interactions with your physician or pharmacist before starting or adding any medication.1

- Some medications that may negatively interact with Antivert include: donepezil, galantamine, tacrine, atropine, benztropine, clozapine, haloperidol, ipratropium, thioridazine, and pramlintide.2
- Antivert is a medication that is sometimes recommended to treat nausea, vomiting, and vertigo that may be a result of motion sickness or the use of medications needed to treat other conditions such as multiple sclerosis.2
- Antivert is a brand name of the generic medication meclizine.2
