Research Notes on Antivert Dosage
The dosage of Antivert recommended to each patient may differ depending on the reason the medication is being prescribed. In the treatment of vertigo, the recommended dose of Antivert is between 25 mg and 100 mg daily, in divided doses. Patients using Antivert to prevent motion sickness are generally advised to take 25 mg to 50 mg one hour prior to traveling. When used to treat nausea and vomiting that occur as a side effect of other treatment medications (such as in multiple sclerosis), patients should discuss dosage options with their physician.1
