Anti-inflammatory medications are used to reduce inflammation that has been caused by different reasons. These medications are broken up into non-steroidal and steroidal anti-inflammatory medications.1 Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAIDs) medications include aspirin, ibuprofen, and naproxen. Steroidal anti-inflammatory medications include cortisone and prednisone.
