Research Notes on Anorchia
Anorchia is a condition in which the testes are not present at birth. At about 12-14 weeks of development in utero, if the testes are lost after the critical phase of male differentiation, the male child will develop this condition. The baby will have a normal penis and scrotom, however the testes will be missing.
