Even with the Fourth of July over, places all over the country continue to use fireworks as an attraction. Although humans find them exciting, fireworks can be terrifying to a pet. The humane society recommends leaving your pet in a secure area at home, close all window treatments, leave a stereo or television on to provide familiar background noise and make sure your pet is wearing a form of identification in case they do get out.
