Angioma is a nonmalignant, superficial condition affecting the skin. There are two types of angioma; spider angioma appears as little radiating veins in a circular pattern and cherry angioma are little raised bumps filled with blood. Both types of angioma are commonly found on the face, legs and torso but can be found anywhere on the body. Most often treatment isn’t necessary but laser vaporization can be used to cosmetically remove angiomas.
