Angelman Syndrome is a genetic disorder that causes severe developmental delay. Named after English pediatrician Dr. Harry Angelman, this syndrome is characterised by severe mental retardation, gross and fine motor difficulties, speech impairment, seizures, an unstable gait and normally a happy disposition.
