Amphetamines are medications that doctors prescribe to treat conditions such as ADHD, narcolepsy, chronic fatigue syndrome, and treatment-resistant depression.1 Patients can become addicted to this medication, causing withdrawal symptoms upon discontinuation.2 Withdrawal symptoms include anxiety, depression, agitation, and fatigue.3
