Research Notes on Alupent Warnings and Precautions
Alupent (metaproterenol) warnings and precautions include risk of worsening asthma symptoms and a stimulatory effect on the heart and blood pressure. Those with high blood pressure, tachycardia, arrhythmia, hyperthyroidism, and diabetes should speak with their health care provider before taking Alupent. You should also let your health care provider know if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant before taking Alupent.1
