Gardasil, the HPV vaccine that is used to prevent cervical cancer, has a higher rate of allergic reactions than childhood vaccines. Despite these findings, a team of doctors still declare that the Gardasil shot is remarkably safe. Reactions are rare and are not a reason to avoid the vaccine.
