Alimta is a brand name for the drug pemetrexed. This medicine is used to treat non-small cell lung cancer and pleural mesothelioma. Alimta works by interfering with cancer cell growth, slowing its spread throughout the body.1 For complete information, see the pemetrexed WisdomCard.
