Alcohol flush reaction is when the body can't break down the alcohol completely. Flushing in the face, neck and in some cases the entire body happens after consumption of alcohol. This is most common in people of Asian decent. Individuals who experience the alcohol flushing reaction may be less prone to alcoholism.
