Albuterol is used for relieving bronchospasm (sudden constriction of airway muscles). This drug may cause serious, and possibly fatal interaction with certain antidepressants prescribed for post-partum depression treatment. It is important to inform the doctor of medications being taken during consult to prevent prescribing medications that may have adverse interactions.
