Research Notes on Advanced Ovarian Cancer and Chemotherapy
Chemotherapy is used in the treatment of advanced ovarian cancer. Normally chemotherapy treatment begins on a patient after surgery. The first regimen for ovarian cancer includes the combination of carboplatin (Paraplatin) and paclitaxel (Taxol) injected into the bloodstream through an IV (intravenous administration).1
