Research Notes on Advanced Ovarian Cancer and CA-125
CA-125 is a substance that may be found in high amounts in the blood of patients with advanced ovarian cancer. CA-125 levels may also help monitor how well a patient's treatments are working or if the cancer has come back.1 Some women with ovarian cancer can have a normal CA-125 level.2
