The most common symptoms associated with adult ADHD include excessive talking, mood swings, trouble staying focused, and frequently losing items of importance. Adults with ADHD may also have difficulty paying attention or relaxing.1 Most adults patients with ADHD also had symptoms during early childhood.

- Patients with adult ADHD may also develop a low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and boredom.2
