Research Notes on Adopted Children Have Higher Mental Health Risk
A study done at the University of Minnesota reveals that adolescents who have been adopted as infants are twice as likely to have behavioral disorders. Among adopted children, 14% had ADHD compared with the 7% of non-adopted children.
