Addisonian crisis is a life-threatening condition characterized by insufficient production of cortisol. Some of the most common symptoms of this disease are sudden, penetrating pain in the legs, lower back or abdomen; severe vomiting and diarrhea with resultant dehydration; low blood pressure; and syncope.
