Adalimumab, sold under the brand name Humira, is used to decrease signs, symptoms, and progression of moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.1
Fast Facts:
- Also used to decrease the signs and symptoms of Crohn's disease.2
- Your doctor will test you for latent tuberculosis before starting this drug.3
- Adalimumab side effects may include headache, nausea, and pain at the injection site.4
