Research Notes on Acupressure
Acupressure is an ancient healing art that uses the hands and fingers to press key points on the skin in order to stimulate the body's natural self-healing abilities. During acupressure, muscle tension is released and blood circulation is enhanced. Acupuncture and acupressure use the same points of the body, however acupuncture uses needles while acupressure uses the pressure of hands (and sometimes feet) to achieve desired results.
