Research Notes on Acuflex Uses
Acuflex is used to treat mild aches, pains, cold, and flu symptoms throughout the body. Theses may include headaches, backaches, menstrual cramps, sinusitis symptoms, toothaches, and minor pains from arthritis. Acuflex may also be used to reduce fever.1

- Acuflex is a brand name medication that combines the drugs acetaminophen and phenyltoloxamine.2
- Acetaminophen is the part of Acuflex that helps with pain relief and fever reduction.2
- Phenyltoloxamine is an antihistamine that treats allergy and cold symptoms.2
- People using monoamine oxidase inhibitors should not use Acuflex.2
