Research Notes on Acanthosis


Acanthoisis is a hyperpigmentation of the skin which is usually shown on the folds of the neck, groin, axilla, and other regions.1 It often occurs due to an excess of insulin in the body, called an insulin spillover.1 Controlling the blood glucose levels in the body can often help the symptoms of this disease.1
