Research Notes on Abraxane Overdose
An overdose may occur if more than the prescribed dose of Abraxane is used. Signs of an overdose of Abraxane may include blurred vision, chest pain, chills, cough, hoarseness, cracked lips, diarrhea, difficulty swallowing, fever, loss of taste, lower back or side pain, painful or difficult urination, shortness of breath, sores, ulcers, or white spots on lips, tongue, or inside the mouth, swollen glands, unusual bleeding, bruising, unusual tiredness, or weakness. Seek medical attention if an overdose does occur.1

- Abraxane is used in the treatment of breast cancer.3
- Abraxane is a brand name for the drug paclitaxel.
