Abilify and Pregnancy


Use of Abilify during pregnancy may not be safe. In studies Abilify has been shown to increase the chances of miscarriage and birth defects. When given to rats Abilify caused low birth weight, slow development, and undescended testicles. The FDA has listed Abilify as a pregnancy category C medication.1
