Research Notes on ADHD and Stress
High level of stress in children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) can aggravate the symptoms of inattention, impulsivity and hyperactivity. ADHD also produces child-rearing stress for the parents and caregivers. Relaxation and effective stress management can help the child and parent cope with ADHD.
