Research Notes on ADHD and Probiotics
At this time there are few resources that meet our quality standards on ADHD and probiotics. Probiotics are live microorganisms ("good bacteria") found in the human stomach and available in foods and dietary supplements. A connection has been proposed on whether an abundance of yeast in the body is a contributing cause to ADHD symptoms, but more research is needed to understand if probiotics play any role in ADHD.
