Research Notes on ADHD and Overactive Bladder

Currently, no clinical evidence is available online to support a link between ADHD and an overactive bladder. Some experts believe there is a connection with the neurotrasmitter serotonin 5-hydroxtryptamine (5-HT), responsible for serotonin release. ADHD may be responsible with a disturbance of the impulses of 5-HT causing a change in urination frequency.1
