Combination of Caffeine and Ritalin in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is believed to be more effective according to some studies. Caffeine is also a stimulant similar to Ritalin's effect on the brain. Most pediatrician discouraged the use of caffeine for ADHD since they are prone to have insomnia, nervousness and increased heart rate.
