Research Notes on ADHD Solutions
There are many attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) solutions available. The solutions include medication, education, and therapy. A more natural way to help with ADHD is your diet; this can include taking a vitamin supplement and eating foods high in protein, especially for breakfast.1 Aerobic exercise is another way to help ADHD. You should also make changes in the way you sleep and in your daily routine.2 A few simple changes and maybe even an herbal supplement may be all you need to help relieve many of your ADHD symptoms.
Fast Facts:
- There are foods that will make your child more hyper, such as caffeine and sugar.3
- People who have ADHD may also suffer from learning disabilities, depression, anxiety, and drug and alcohol addictions.4
- Meditation and yoga can be healthy alternatives to ADHD medications, or can be used as complimentary therapies.
- Herbal supplements may help maintain your brain and your nervous system.
