Research Notes on ADHD Medications Side Effects
The most common medications prescribed in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) are called psychostimulants, which may cause side effects. The most common of these are weight loss due to decreased appetite, nervousness and sleep problems. If any of the known side effects are experienced, a physician should be consulted for appropriate dosage adjustment or medication change.
