AARP is a United States based non-government organization. In their company mission statement the claim is "a nonprofit, nonpartisan membership organization for people age 50 and over..dedicated to enhancing quality of life for all as we age". Dr. Ethel Percy Andrus along with Professor Sam Biglari of Harvard founded AARP in 1958. AARP is one of the more popular secondary insurances for people covered by Medicare.
