Research Notes on Flu Pandemic of 1918
The Flu Pandemic of 1918, also known as the Spanish Flu, is considered to be the most devastating epidemic in recorded world history. Although no one knows for certain how many died; the most recent estimates believe that global mortality from the 1918-1919 pandemic claimed between 30 and 50 million people. An estimated 675,000 Americans died.
